Bober Markey Fedorovich, a top 20 Northeast Ohio CPA and advisory firm, announces that Eric D. German, CPA, MAcc, has been promoted to Partner. German joined the firm in 2014 as a senior manager, Advisory and Assurance Services, previously serving as an assistant controller at a $10+ billion private equity investment manager and as an assurance manager at Ernst & Young.

A native of Cambridge, Ohio, and current resident of North Olmsted, German’s client experiences at BMF include negotiation and settlement of multi-million dollar working capital disputes, navigating nine-figure goodwill and intangible impairment charges, implementing share-based equity compensation arrangements, and exiting and entering international jurisdictions, just to name a few. German has provided counsel to a variety of multi-national organizations as they have navigated some of the most complex areas of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

“Eric’s experience in both public accounting and private industry has allowed him to be well versed in a number of disciplines critical to our profession and the firm’s mission,” said Richard C. Fedorovich, managing partner/CEO for BMF.  “We are confident that his extensive professional and technical background will complement the strategic growth initiatives and future vision and growth we are pursuing for our practice.”

German earned his BSBA and MAcc degrees from Bowling Green State University. In addition to his CPA, Mr. German is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Ohio Society of CPAs.
