Getting Back to Business as (un)Usual

To Our Valued Clients and Friends,

We’ve all been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in some way. Since our last update, we’ve accelerated our efforts to help our people and our visitors stay safe, informed and connected. Following best practices from national health and government agencies, we’ve implemented safety guidelines to help limit exposure in our office environment through a variety of hygiene, sanitation, mask requirements and social distancing practices. We are confident and excited to continue welcoming back staff, clients and visitors into our Akron* office.

Along with personal safety, we’ve also been busy with business security, especially as it relates to PPP funding and forgiveness. Our team has been diligently researching and interpreting the laws surrounding this program to help businesses and their lending institutions navigate this process to support and maximize loan forgiveness. From financial modeling and loan projections, forgiveness calculations, documentation compliance and business tax, we’re working alongside our clients around the clock throughout the entire process.

With the economy continuing to slowly reopen, we’re all actively seeking information about new policies, procedures and requirements on how to navigate these conditions and rules in our homes, communities, places of business and our lives. What we’re finding is a variety of instruction, which varies based on the individual or place of business – which can be difficult to know what to do or not to do in certain situations. We are just as concerned as you are and want to let you know how we’re handling this next stage of returning to work, especially as it relates to our associates visiting your worksite.

In the absence of unified rules, you can expect our associates to practice the same recommended safety procedures we’ve set forth for our own place of business, as guided by the CDC. If you have specific measures you’d like us to observe when visiting your site, we encourage you to let us know in advance to ensure we’re prepared and ready to perform.

If you are uncomfortable with a scheduled visit from us or have any hesitation whatsoever, we encourage you to reach out to discuss the best way we can continue moving forward on your project. Alternatively, we can also serve you through a virtual approach that leverages superior technology to continue delivering the same quality service you have come to expect from us. If you’re unsure of our safety practices or simply want to discuss an alternate visitation plan, your BMF Advisor is here to help plan the best route to your success.

We know that getting back to work won’t be “business as usual,” and we are truly thankful for you. Thankful for your understanding of adapting to the changes we’ve made to keep you, our associates and our communities safe. Thankful for your flexibility and adaptability with embracing new channels to interact with us. Thankful for your continued loyalty in working together with us – now and in the future.
