With more than 12 years of public accounting experience, Matt has served clients ranging from large multinational SEC registrants with global footprints, to small- to medium-size private-equity-owned clients, leading discussions with client personnel, including C-Suite executives, regarding significant accounting matters.
Matt is experienced in several functional CPA disciplines which include knowledge of several international GAAP jurisdictions such as IFRS, SEC reporting and advisory, Sarbanes Oxley implementation and compliance, among others. He has extensive experience in various technical accounting areas including business combinations, revenue recognition, consolidation, goodwill, intangibles, debt, allowances, share-based payments, derivatives, self-insurance reserves, and other non-standard accounts. Matt has developed his deep and diverse skill set due to a background in serving as a Senior Manager at a Big 4 accounting firm. Matt uses this skill set to provide peace of mind to his clients by helping them navigate the ever-changing complex rules and regulations that face businesses. He excels at developing innovative and sensible business solutions to complex business problems in a proactive manner that increase their efficiency, improve existing processes and ultimately reduce costs.
