Industry & Service Expertise

Articles

Jon focuses on business development, maintaining new and existing client relationships, and expanding opportunities for deeper client engagement. He spent the first part of his career as a CPA working in corporate and partnership taxation, specializing in cost segregation studies and mergers and acquisitions. Jon leverages his extensive network of corporate and financial connections in ways that further relationships between the firm, its clients and the community.

Serving as a relationship manager for his network, Jon builds bridges to people who can help solve a problem, complete a deal or move an organization – or a career – forward. Companies looking to find a new commercial bank or financial partner looking to meet a particular corporate executive, have come to rely on Jon for his ability to uncover the person or institution that can advance someone’s agenda.

Jon views his role as a business connector, rather than someone charged with “selling” the firm. As someone who’s built an impressive and deep network of relationships that extend beyond NE Ohio throughout the Midwest, Jon functions at the intersection of accounting, banking, private equity, investment banking and other corporate and financial decision-making to provide just the right introduction at just the right time.

Prior to joining BMF in 2011, Jon was with Grant Thornton in Cleveland for several years, as well as with a regional public accounting firm.
